Job Description:
We are looking for an iPhone Client Engineer to work on our next-generation mobile social entertainment applications such as FunChat. You will be working on cutting-edge iPhone applications that will be marketed directly to consumers (through App Store, affiliate programs, mobile web and other mainstream marketing venues, as well as through our partner carriers such as Verizon Wireless and AT&T Wireless. We are looking for hard working, knowledgeable, creative engineers that enjoy working in a friendly, results-oriented environment.
Required Skills:
• 1+ years of experience as primary developer of published iPhone applications.
• 3+ years of hands-on development/porting experience using C / C++ or Java, in a commercial software development environment.
• Experience with all phases of product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, specifications, development, test, product release and sustaining engineering.
• Proficiency with Object-Oriented design methodology.
• Experience in programming dynamic and advanced graphics mobile application (i.e., Windows GUI applications).
• Familiarity with software configuration management systems and /or source code version control systems preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with a self-managed proactive work style.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Desire to engage in extremely challenging assignments.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related studies.
• Developed some iPhone apps/games that can be demonstrated.
• Experience working with projects or clients in the mobile/gaming industry.
• Experience designing Mobile sites (online and WAP platforms)
• Able to lead by example - excites and inspires fellow designers to create amazing work.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) or Mac productivity software (Pages, Keynote, etc.) preferred.
